Tripod Podcast Episode 10

Tripod Podcast Episode 10

In this, the final Tripod podcast for a while, Poet and Fine-Artist Diana Syder talks about her work, and the interconnections between the two art forms. How does she work? Are the two strands just different aspects of the same creative expression? Is there a lot of visual imagery in her poetry? Has she ever combined words and images in the same work?

Diana also reads her poem: Valve.

An exhibition of Diana’s paintings, The Ideal Garden, will be at Buxton Museum and Art Gallery until February 2008.

Diana’s three poetry collections: Maxwell’s Rainbow, Hubble, and String, are available from Smith/Doorstop Books.
